The Gambia is a small country surrounded by another country in Senegal. The British Commonwealth country lies along the Atlantic Coast, with its main language as English.
The plan is depart in the portion of 2011 giving S-2 the opportunity to build relationships/partnerships in the U.S. in order to make this the most successful trip possible. Initial contacts have already been made with the Gambia Football Federation to reserve meetings and a tryout event for players 16+over, communities throughout the country to hold day clinics and reach out to the people of The Gambia.
The budget for the trip is estimated to cost upwards of $15,000, which includes staff costs, flights, crate shipment (6 weeks prior), living arrangements, food and supplies and giveaways.
